RtK Turbo Sequence
SPOILER WALKTHROUGH BELOW !
UNLESS YOU INTEND TO PLAY THIS VARIANT AND NEED A GUIDE !
The sequence below is being
provided solely as a guide for the Speed variant. The target of this
variant is to complete the game in the most direct, quickest sequence possible.
Events which are not essential to the completion of the game are
absolutely not allowed. It tests the resourceful of a player's
character team to use only those items randomly seeded by the program,
without enhancements. The metric of success is based on the final
total of experience points of James, Jazhara, Kendaric and Solon just prior
to encountering Bear and his mercenaries at the end of Chapter 10. The
approximate point of level-up have been indicated in italics only as a
guide (Depending on whether any of your characters die or not will affect
when the level-up occurs.). The smaller the total, the better
the Speed game. Any "shortcut" you find that will reduce that total
is to your own credit. Should you find a major exp point saver step
to add to the sequence below, please inform the author. Your discovery
will be credited as the list below gets modified accordingly. Good

advance clock setting to sunset (~8 PM). Return to the guild and
immediately return to Jorath's room. Open the trapped drawer and

seeding of the game, it may be necessary to do battle with the bandits).
Loot 4 bodies, if needed.
Follow the route towards
Haldon Head that hugs the coast. Bypass the meeting at the Wayfarer
Inn, contrary to Arutha's orders. Fight any random encounters with
adversaries along the coastal route, looting bodies as needed. (There should
be 10-15 bandits, a 2-headed Flying Demon and 5 Izmali Assassins, but most
of these events are selected by the pRNG.) Walk to Widow's Point.
Fight combat with 2 Air Elementals
at Widow's Point [James levels up].
William and 2 Krondorian
Soldiers battle Bear and 4 of his mercenaries at Two Fangs Pass.
Loot during combat, if necessary. You'll need to use potions, resins

talk to the mayor. Then navigate to the Shops Sector and speak with
Ward at the general store. (Reminder: Ask all questions, but do not
repair, buy or sell any items.)
Leave the store and navigate
to the Woodcutter's Shack. Kill the vampire worker, retrieve the
Nightstone and read the journal, then discard it.
Leave the shack and then
navigate to the Tomb. Use the Nightstone, kill 5 vampires and loot
as needed. The sun will set as your party leaves the tomb.
Navigate back to the Woodcutter's
Shack and advance the clock to sunrise. (A mage may brew up to three
4-hour batches of potions during this period, if needed.)

to the mayor. Then to the Shops Sector, enter Merrick's house and
allow Solon to save his daughter.
Walk directly over to Ward's
store, check the bottom shelf and then leave.

Sector, check the farmer's bags of grain and then speak to Alton.
After he dies, drop the necklace into inventory and go to the Pulpit.

you like). [James & Kendaric level up]

before combat ends.)

Monster and loot 2 dead seamen, if needed.
Run up to the deck, battle
4 Zombies and loot items, if needed.
Run back down the door on
the opposite side and into the ship again.
Run to the end of the corridor
and into the room, battle a Dragon Soul and then leave the ship the way
your party entered.
Save the game just as you
leave the ship in case you miss a chance to tally your points later.
Run to the beach and just
before reaching the beach, click on one of your characters and cycle through
all the Attributes Screens. Record the character level and current
experience points of each character. Add all experience points together...
That is the "Speed Value".
If you like (just to make
it "official"), you may finish the game, but it's not necessary.
If you've gotten this far, the final battle is a cakewalk against enemies
that can't cast spells. Done!
An average Speed game should
have taken about 4-6 hours. Congratulations ! Now try it at
Hard/Fighter and go for the Crystal Order
