While searching the sewers
to recover Gerard's rubies, choose the "Follow" option rather than attacking
the mockers and they will lead the party directly to the hideout.
After advancing the clock
to sneak into the guild after dark, a brief visit to Kendaric's upstairs
room yields great loot items after 2 Nighthawks and a Necromancer have
been slain. Check under the bed for a rare artifact that will interest
a shop dealing in magic.
Disarming and picking
the lock of the trapped drawer in Jorath's desk in his upstairs room at
the guild will lead the party back to Ye Bitten Dog Inn to confront Lucky
Pete.
If the clock is advanced
to at least 8 o'clock PM after talking to the dockworkers outside the guild
about Old Thom, return to the alley in the Sea Gate Sector to find
the beggar being threatened by Nighthawks. Defeat them and learn
some information about the guildmaster's death only available during this
encounter.
The responses you choose
while questioning Lucky Pete will determine the configuration of the battle(s)
you will face at Ye Bitten Dog Inn. Possibly the toughest battle
in the game, the "double wave" battle can be triggered if you try to hire
