for Chapter 2
-
Heed
a lone mocker's advice and make an sewer monster omelet
Strike
a bargain to kill the sewer monster, destroy its eggs and RatTail jack
will guarantee safe passage until your party finds Lucas.
-
William's
only encounter with an Ishapian priest... a healing prayer for 3 treasure
hunters
A
quest encountered after leaving the sewers and returning to the streets
of Krondor.
If
anyone in the party is injured, a brief visit to the church of Ishap reveals
an introduction to Solon, the warrior-priest who will join the party in
a future chapter. After repeated begging, he will deliver a healing
prayer for the exhausted trio.
-
A skillful
mage spoils an assassination attempt
If
attacked by 5 Izmali assassins at the cistern, protect Jazhara from getting
poisoned and she can cast almost any spell successfully, even if she needs
to slow cast. The poisoned daggers do little damage first-hand damage
but the poison lingers. Stuff some antidote in each of the fighters'
backpacks and use it only to prevent death.
-
The
"left-footed" explorer will locate the watery reservoir with 3 turns
After
entering the door to the sewers, left turns at the next 3 intersections
will lead the party directly to the cistern and access all avenues of the
underworld. Notice the insignia painted above each of the entrances
to the cistern, to help find your way.
-
Toss
a coin in a fountain and behold the magic
A
quest encountered after leaving the sewers and returning to the streets
of Krondor.
The
hand cursor will appear at the top of the fountain in the Palace Sector.
Placing a single gold coin in the the fountain, then leaving the sector
and immediately returning will gain experience points for all members of
the party. This trick can be repeated several times.
-
What
appears to be just another long corridor is a monster's domain
From
the entrance to the sewers make a right turn at each of the next 2 intersections
and enter a long corridor where your trio will be introduced to a rogue
sewer monster intent on denying safe passage.
-
Prandur's
aid at a price... a rare healing ingredient!
A
quest encountered after leaving the sewers and returning to the streets
of Krondor.
Upon
the visiting the Priest of Prandur a second time for healing, a bargain
is struck... obtain a restorative potion, Choca, and the priest can regain
his healing prayers. The source: a magic shop in the Wealthy
Sector. (Note: Someone in the party must be injured
during both visits.)
-
Sometimes
the complete story is only visible after emerging from the darkness
At
the entrance to the sewers, change the camera angle and a brightly-lit
path back to the Rainbow Parrot will be visible. The sidequests available
in the streets of Krondor in this chapter will help to link some the clues
given elsewhere in the story.
